From Canon T3 to Nikon D7000 and beyond
About 4 months ago, I sold the Canon T3, rustled up some cash, and moved over to the Nikon D7000, a step up in build quality, performance, and resolution. I've shot in the neighborhood of 3000 images on the new body, and I must say i'm glad I made the switch. Key enhancements for me were:
All in all, I'm happy I made the switch from a consumer body to body with more pro features. The Canon T3 was definitely a good starter camera that wet the appetite to go pro. When I saw what I could do with that body, I wanted to do more, but the camera just wouldn't let me. It wasn't built for my brand. So I stepped up. Now it's time to get more work; and supplement the arsenal with more glass, and perhaps a full frame body.
